MOTTO Truth That Changes Lives!
Culture Clauses:
As we think about who we are, we also have to consider what we aspire to be known for. As a church, culture, and organization we have identified these articles, or clauses as we call them, as the terms and conditions by which we live. We believe that as long as we can apply these clauses to our ministry, we will remain true to what we’ve been commissioned to do. We also place a great level of confidence in the idea that these clauses bridge us to the culture at large which we aim to influence. Our ability to impact and appeal to humanity is in our opinion expressed through these clauses.
Reconciliation: Joining God’s people back to him is essentially what this life is all about. To reach the broken, forsaken, forgotten and the lost. The message that God doesn’t forget about those that are lost must always ring loud in the spaces we move in.
Sacrifice: The narrative of the Father sacrificing His son and Christ sacrificing His life provides the example that we too must be willing to sacrifice.
Faith: This makes pleasing God possible and aligns our hope to God’s ability and authority. Always remember that faith enjoys the company of work. James 2:17
Humility: Our spiritual authority shouldn’t create arrogance but humility. We don’t think more highly of ourselves than we should. It is this trait of humility that allows us to connect with others and execute the assignment given to each of us.
Worship: The release of our praise and thanksgiving unto God for who he is. It meets the expectations placed on us and we are to take great joy in it.
Integrity: The quality of being honest and having strong moral principles; the state of being whole and undivided; the condition of being unified, unimpaired, or sound in construction. Simply put, it matters what we do when we’re not visible to all.
Innovation: New methods, ideas, and products, etc., showcase the beautiful nature of God’s creative genius in mankind. All of your new ideas, creative thoughts, and imaginations highlight how unique the creator and creation function in the earth. We aspire to foster this type of innovative thinking for the community we serve in.
Education: The bible says: I would not have you be ignorant (1 Thessalonians 4:13 KJV). We have a responsibility to properly prepare and equip those connected to us to the best of our ability. We will always challenge ourselves to ensure what we do is measured through construct of education.
Philanthropy: We are committed to the mission of caring for others. This is best lived out by extending our time, finances, energy and love as a resource to those who may require it. Our wealth in the aforementioned categories aren’t solely for us. The surplus God extends to us, causes us to consider, how much have we invested in others. We believe this to be one of the greatest assignments given to the church.
Grace: This allows us to engage from a place of compassion and empathy. The bible says that grace covers a multitude of sins and we know that grace has carried us to the place of our present-day assignments and callings. Now we offer that same grace to others as they come to connect with us.
